Infra Pilot

Example Scenario

Project Name: Horizon

To tie all of the diagrams together the following fictional company and project have been created

The Company:

Treadwell & Shaw Heavy Industries (TSHI) – A global manufacturer of commercial agricultural and earth-moving machinery.

The Problem:

Their global supply chain is fragmented, and regional factories are running on outdated, on-premises legacy mainframes. Factory floor workers are facing 20-second delays when scanning parts for robotic assembly, causing massive production bottlenecks.

The Solution (The Architecture):

A hybrid Edge-to-Cloud architecture.

1. A central, cloud-hosted COTS ERP (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or Dynamics 365) to handle global finances, inventory, and master customer records.

2. A Custom-Built Microservice (The Parts Routing API) to track global shipments.

3. Physical Edge Servers (running containerized workloads) deployed directly onto the regional factory floors to process barcode scans and robotic telemetry locally with zero latency.
